Indigenous All Stars Set to Dazzle Freo in Early AFL Showdown

The big names have come out to play early in 2025, with the Indigenous All Stars to face off with Fremantle at Optus Stadium.

It marks the first time the Indigenous All Stars have played since 2015, with Shai Bolton, Kysaiah Pickett, Tyson Stengle Charlie Cameron, Izak Rankine, Tim Kelly and Steven May among the names to line up for the star-studded side coached by Xavier Clarke.

Fremantle veteran Michael Walters is captain of the Indigenous All-Stars.

It’ll meanwhile mark new Docker Bolton’s last game against Fremantle following his off-season trade from Richmond, though he’s expected to play limited minutes due to a calf issue.

Alex Pearce was also set to play against the Dockers but was forced to pull out due to an ankle issue. Liam Jones will also be without Liam Jones after the Bulldogs defender suffered a hamstring setback.

Fremantle is missing Nat Fyfe, Hayden Young and Sean Darcy due to injury.

The game starts at 7.30pm AEDT (4.30pm local time).
