Liam Wilson and Youssef Dib will step back in the ring on March 1 with No Limit on Wednesday confirming a highly-anticipated re-match as its season opener.

The pair fought a thriller in July, with Wilson’s win in the gruelling lightweight slugfest becoming a contender for fight of the year.
Having moved up in weight, Wilson was in trouble before flipping the script with what was described as a “left hook from hell” that stopped ‘Uwee’ Dib in the eighth round.
Now Dib will have the chance to settle the score with a March rematch at Brisbane’s South Bank Piazza.
“Liam might have knocked me out last time, but he knows I was his toughest fight in years,” Dib said in a No Limit statement confirming the re-match.
“I had him on the back foot, and this time, I’m coming stronger, smarter, and hungrier.
“I’m here to take back what should’ve been mine and show everyone I’m the better fighter.”
Meanwhile, Wilson vowed that his second crack at Dib would produce a more convincing result in his favour.
“I’m absolutely itching to fight again,” Wilson said.
“I was stunned he wanted the rematch to be honest because of the way I finished him last time.
“He brought the fight to me, but when it mattered most, I showed why I’m levels above. This time, I’ll make it even more decisive and prove there’s no question who’s the best.”
No Limit Boxing chief George Rose said Wilson v Dib II would be the “perfect way” for the promotion to kick-off the new year.
“Liam and Uwee’s first fight was unforgettable, fight of the year stuff, and this rematch has all the ingredients to surpass it,” Rose said.
“Liam deserves to have the hometown support behind him this time, plus the local talent on this card is absolutely incredible. You won’t want to miss this.”
Those featuring on the fight’s undercard include Kirra Rushton, Jack Bowen, Floyd Masson, Paris Olympian Shannon Davey and World Amateur Champion Cooper O’Connell.
