This year marks a significant time for the Assyrian’s, it’s exactly 100 years since the genocide ‘seyfo’ occurred killing hundreds of thousands of Christian men, women and children who were inhumanly slaughtered for professing their faith in Jesus Christ!

One hundred years later and the barbaric slaughtering of Christians worldwide dismayingly still continues. Rev.Fred Nile, has lead the Christian Democratic for 33 years and has always publically condemned the suffering and persecution of Christians worldwide including the Assyrians.

“Australia is a proud, democratic Christian country and we will unite with all fellow Christians to defend our Christian beliefs and values for all future generations. Australian Laws, Rights and Values should protect all Christians but we should also unite to be the voice for those suffering and dying for the Christian faith. I call on the Australian Government to make it their priority in supporting all Christians whom are victims to the evil the world is experiencing”.

In his continued support for the Assyrian community, Rev Nile is attending the Assyrian New Year’s Day Celebrations this Sunday 22 March at Fairfield Showgrounds.
