Concern has been expressed by a number of Christian Democratic Party candidates, including Lara Taouk Sleiman (Granville), with respect to the ‘dirty’ tactics that have taken place during this NSW election campaign.
It includes a smear campaign on specially created Facebook pages, defacing of posters, intimidation and threats.
The CDP candidates will remain strong with the full backing of the Party Executive.
“I have not witnessed such behaviour in our CDP election campaigns before and I am shocked. I will call for a Parliamentary Inquiry into bullying and threats against Candidates and encourage all Candidates to contact the Police if they are concerned” said Rev. Hon Fred Nile in Sydney earlier today.
