Senate Candidates:
Lead Senate Candidate for NSW: Nella Hall
‘The CDP is the only party that holds true to my Judeo Christian beliefs and convictions’
Nella’s ethos that nothing comes otherwise than through hard work, and her fundamentally Judeo Christian perspective in everything she does, likely has it roots from her arrival in Australia at the age of 7, the daughter of Italian parents who spoke no English. She spent her childhood in the then working class suburb of Enfield, (in Sydney).
Nella has been a broadcaster, a campaign manager, a marketing manager, and sits on the Boards of a number of community groups.
To those that know her, she is in every sense the best of operators to have on your team. She is supported by her husband and her family in everything she does. She lives at Strathfield with her husband and 2 sons.
Lead Senate Candidate for ACT: Dr David Kim
‘I stand for Christian values, traditional family values, equal opportunity of education, health care, and better infrastructure investment in the ACT. Although the marginal groups of the society need to be respected, the regulations and rules of pre-school, primary school, high school, vocational school, and college should be based on the traditional family values, with the global level of intelligence. The health care of each citizen should be the main concern of the ACT government like the development of infrastructure for local business’
David teaches Religious History and Asian Studies at Australian National University, Canberra.
Lead Senate Candidate for Victoria: May Hanna
May Hanna is an Australian born Lawyer and Chartered Accountant of Syrian background working predominantly in the area of Immigration Law at Sabelberg Morcos Lawyers in Victoria. She is passionate about Human Rights and has been working tirelessly on the humanitarian crisis affecting minorities in the Middle East and Africa.
If elected to represent Victoria in the Senate May will work towards immigration reform and lobbying for the Government to take a stronger stance on the persecution of Christians and other minority groups worldwide.
In line with May’s passion for Human Rights, she is a strong advocate of providing access to justice for all Australians by protecting legal aid group funding which continues to be cut by the Government.
May is also passionately campaigning for equal pay for women and believes the government needs to make bridging the significant gap the highest of priorities.
May will also work hard on ensuring proposed negative gearing changes are not passed as she believes the detrimental effect on our economy and property market could be disastrous, particularly in light of the recent changes to foreign property investment regulations in Australia.
Lead Senate Candidate for Queensland: Wayne Solomon
I stand for Christian values, a strong belief in the sanctity of Marriage, equal pay for all doing the same work and responsibility, Health care being made available for all with a balance between Hospital wait time, Health fund costs and fees charges for Medical visits and procedures and pharmaceutical costs.
Wayne has extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst and is currently a Manager of Systems Development. Wayne will ensure the voice of mainstream conservative Australians in Queensland is heard through supporting fundamental family values, as Queenslanders look for a genuine conservative option with a proven track record.
Lead Senate Candidate for Tasmania: Silvana Nero-Nile
Silvana is a dynamic and focused leader who is passionate about family values and the upholding of Australia’s Judeo-Christian values. She has received a Diploma in Primary Teaching from The Australian Catholic University and a Bachelor of Education from The University of New England, in addition to numerous other qualifications including postgraduate studies both domestically and overseas. Silvana has over 30 years of experience as an educator from preschool to high school aged children.
Silvana will campaign for pro-family, pro-marriage and pro-life policies.
Lead Senate Candidate for South Australia: Matt Attia
Matt has a strong passion for human rights and stands for Christian family values, free markets, religious freedom, and upholding Australia’s Judeo-Christian heritage. Matt’s South Australian policy priority is to support small businesses by lowering taxes and red tape to encourage further employment. Acknowledging that our Australian way of life and traditions are under attack, Matt is campaigning on upholding traditional marriage and ensuring that corruption in the unions and the abuse of power by banks is halted. If elected to represent SA in the Senate, Matt will work to ensure that the voice of mainstream, conservative Australians in South Australia is heard, particularly through freedom of religion and freedom of speech.
Lead Senate Candidate for Western Australia: Mark Imisides
Dr Mark Imisides brings a strong ‘Conservative’ approach to WA with a view to countering the green/left agenda. If elected to the Senate, Dr Imisides will be a voice for primary producers, a voice that they do not currently have, and have never had, not even form the Nationals. Moreover, he will uphold traditional family a values, and will support the overturning of Section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act. He will also oppose the creeping influence of Islam in our culture and value system, an agenda that has been assisted by the ‘left-leaning’ media.
