REV FRED NILE SAYS CHRISTIAN DEMOCRATIC PARTY SUPPORTS FEDERAL GOVERNMENT INITIATIVES IN DEALING WITH TERRORIST PROPAGANDA IN AUSTRALIA
The Attorney-General, Senator Hon George Brandis QC, announced today whilst at the Countering Violent Extremism Summit in the White House, that the Australian Government will create a body to monitor social media and take down terrorist propaganda.
The CDP strongly supports the Attorney-General’s announcement.
“It is crucial for the Federal Government to go one step further to taking down terrorist propaganda. The Government should invest in identifying the fundamental source of terrorist propaganda, as the safety of Australians is the ultimate priority. Our rights, our Judeo-Christian values and our freedom must be protected. We must not tolerate any level of terrorism in our nation” stated Rev Nile.
“Our ANZACS fought for the freedoms we enjoy today and as we commemorate 100 years since the Gallipoli campaign this year, we should do all we can to honour those who gave their lives in WWI, and in all wars, by protecting our current generation from those who still seek to terrorise, intimidate and threaten our intrinsic love of peace in this blessed country” reflected Rev Nile.
“The Christian Democratic Party’s key policies include tougher laws and sentencing on crime and terrorist activity as our current system is proving to be drastically failing Australian people. Australians need, and deserve, to feel secure against terrorist threats” said Rev Nile.
Note: The CDP’s Policy Launch will take place on the evening of Friday 27th of February 2015 and will outline the Party’s key policies. More information from the CDP Administration Office 02 9633 3255.
